Scheduled - Dear Smartnumbers Customer,
We would like to inform you of our Planned Engineering Works (PEW) as part of a network infrastructure upgrade being carried out by BT, our interconnect provider. As part of this programme, Smartnumbers will migrate voice interconnect services to BT's new ORION platform, which will enhance network resilience and support future service improvements.
This PEW relates to Smartnumbers Control and Protect UK carrier model customers.
The migration will be completed in two phases:
Phase 1: Smartnumbers ORION Connectivity Enablement
Smartnumbers will establish and test connectivity between our network and the new BT ORION platform for outbound voice traffic. This phase ONLY relates to Smartnumbers Control Customers (Telephony Platform).
Planned Engineering Window:
January 2027 to February 2027
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
07:00AM – 08:00AM
No service disruption is anticipated during this activity.
Phase 2: BT ORION Platform Migration
BT will migrate all related services to the ORION platform with support from Smartnumbers.

February 2027 to March 2027
